The festive period at the shop can get very busy and with uncertain times ahead, we decided to put extra measures in place to help reduce queueing times. We are very conscious that customer wait times can be very frustrating, so here are a few changes we’re implementing to help combat this and hopefully make your whole shopping experience less stressful.
If not ideal, we are trying our hardest with large number of customers, limited space, ever-changing guidelines, and uncertain times ahead to give you the best quality and service we can.
We may not get it right as often as we would like, so we really do appreciate your patience and understanding during these crazy times.

This year, you have the option to order your Christmas goodies online. Although taking orders in person at the shop is welcomed, with a ‘one-customer in the shop policy’ in place, it has the potential to hold up the waiting queue. Having the option to order online is one way we hope to help with this issue in the lead up to Christmas.
FREE LOCAL DELIVERY
We are now offering FREE local delivery. This should help keep queueing times down and of course, is a great option for those who cannot make it to the shop for whatever reason.
DEDICATED COLLECTION POINT
We are pleased to announce that we now have ‘Collection Point’ for customers collecting and paying for their orders. This is located in our next-door shop – The Highland Deli. There will be a one-way system in place which can safely allow four people in the shop at any time and with the cold and wet weather upon us already, it should make collection quicker and less painful.
We are excited to now offer ‘time-slots’ for customers collecting their online orders. Time-slots will be available for orders being collected from ‘The Deli’ Monday 21st December
We feel time-slots are a great addition to our ordering system and not only will it help reduce queueing times, free up the butchers counter for customers buying produce, it may help with the sheer number of people congregating outside the shop when social distancing is still in place.
Time-slots will fill up and become unavailable once a certain number is reached leaving only the next available slots for you to choose from. With that in mind, we recommend placing your order early to have the option of your favoured slot.
Time-slots will be offered to all ‘collection’ orders placed online, in person, and over the phone.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer time slots for home delivery
